Welcome to the Open House Party!
This is the last day to enter the GIVEAWAY for a $50.00 gift of your

We had family visiting for the last seven days and they just left to
return to Orlando. I especially enjoyed spending time with two of
our adorable grandchildren.
Now I know why God gives children to young people... I am exhausted!
We have a really busy summer planned, including a trip to Destin and
one to Orlando. In July our grandson will be staying with us for two
weeks and we have lots of summer fun planned. In addition, we are still
trying to sale our house and just made a huge reduction in price..uuggh!
Hopefully, we will be moving this summer.
There is so much going on right now I have decided to put the Home Tour
on hiatus until Fall. This part of the party is so time consuming it just makes
sense for me to put it on hold for a while.

Sorry you had to lower your asking price - that happened to us on our last house and it was so stressful!! But it finally sold and we moved on which will happen to you (did you try burying a St Joseph statue in the yard)?!

I know how exhausting young kids can be! I was with a group of them this morning for a couple of hours. But, they sure do put a smile on my face!! Thanks for hosting.

Oh-I sure hope your house sells, Sherry. We have decided to wait a few years to see if the market pops back a bit...although I don't think we took quite as big of a hit as a lot of the country did. Hope you can get some rest before the next grandchild adventure- xo Diana

Speaking as one who has been the blessed recipient of your Open House post in the past, I KNOW you must spend a lot of time on those posts! So it certainly makes sense to me that you would take a break from that part of the process.
I am so sorry that you've had to reduce your asking price. Your home is so beautiful--I would have thought that it would sell in a heartbeat! But there's just no predicting the real estate market, is there? I hope it moves quickly for you now.

I am sorry you are under so much stress.Selling a home will do that.Please watch yourself.I was under so much stress with the sale of our last home I ended up in the hospital.I was having panic attacks but I thought it was something else.I will keep you all in my prayers.
